RN Professional Development

The contents of this virtual training is intended for Registered Nurses who are involved in the preceptorship of internationally qualified nurses (IQNs) and under graduate student nurses working in clinical environments. 

It is free for RNs that work specifically with our CAP candidates on clinical placement. If you work at one of our clinical placement sites, please complete the registration form and notify us via email admin@lec.ac.nz. We will bypass the payment requirement for you.

If you are an RN in New Zealand wanting to do  our Preceptor training please complete the registration form. We will review the form and once approved we will send you an email link notification. Once you have access/created your password you will need to add this course into your cart and purchase it. 

This course is self-directed, you will work your way through a series of modules, videos and interactive activities. Once completed you will be able to download a certificate with 8 hours professional development.
